Vie puppy, pronounced "V", as in Life in french, is about 3 and a half years old meow. I call her my little soulmate. When she came into my world, I was going through a really bad depression, as in trying to commit suicide constantly kind of depression. She has saved my life many times. There is something so special about a connection one can have with an animal. They have an unconditional love that doesn't compare with anything else.
Animals, can feel every as well (remember everything is energy) and they know when you need help. I remember struggling, her not even being in the same room, but knowing what was happening, she would come to me. Wagging her tail, she would lick my hand and everything "bad" would dissappear. I'd look into her human like eyes and it was like she was telling me, it's OK mom, im here for you. My entire being would fill up with so much light, love and happiness, something that it was extremely hard to feel at that time.
I would like to share a memory, that is very dear to me, although it was really intense in every single sense of the world. One day, about 3 years ago, during the peek of my depression, I was driving back home from Boulder City. My mind was so clouded with awful thoughts and I just wanted to run into a building and end my suffering. I had a moment of clarity and called a friend freaking out, explaining what was going on in my head; he told me to pull over and wait for him to come get me. I stopped the car at the side of the highway, waiting impatiently, moving my fingers around, holding the steering wheel for dear life so I wouldn't get out of the car and do something silly. When my friend got there, he got into the car and freaking out I said I wanted to run into a semi and end it all. He held me down and said it's ok, things are going to be ok, and.... at one moment I remembered Vie, I remember her cute little wrinkles and the love that radiates from her being and told him, Take me to her.
As soon as I got to the house, I open the door of the car and she came running to me, she hopped into the car and started giving me those little kisses that can bring a dead man back to life. She made me smile, I hugged her giving her thanks for saving me, because I knew that I hadn't saved her, she had saved me.
